He has been finalist in others important competitions like Giacomo Lauri Volpi (Latina,Italy.1997) Marie Kraja (Tirana,Albania.2004) and semifinalist in Francisco Vinas (Barcelona,Spain.2007). Specially his participation in Toti dal Monte's competition has given to Alejandro Escobar the opportunity to make his debut in the Treviso's Teatro Comunale and since then he was quickly developed his carrier in Italy and in the world. He was participated in some master classes with important artists of those who took the tools to create his repertoire, Robert Ketellson, Rockwell Blake, Claudio Desderi; but his vocal training is attributed to hold soprano Cecilia Nunez Albanese. Parallel to his opera activity he hold an important activity performings symphonic music and oratorio with major musical complex like, Orquesta Sinfonica de Colombia, Orquesta Filamonica de Bogota, Orquesta Donizetti de Bergamo, Orquesta Carlo Coccia Novara, Orquesta Teatro Municipal Sao Paolo (Basil). Orquesta Filarmonica de Antioquia (Colombia). National Estonian Orchestra. Was participated in special programs such as; Il Regio Itinerante from Teatro Regio of Turin with Libes Lieder und neues libes lieder waltzer, Musica da camera of Rossini, Homage to Bernstein. He was participated in Pergine's spettacolo aperto Festival, 99, singing Catullo in Orff's Catulli Carmina. In April 99, he was singed in Teatro alla Scala di Milano concert season with Britten a wedding anthem. Some many performances of Mozart's Requiem, Glory Mess, Brevis Mess, Haydn's Stabat Mater and Die Schöpfung, Beethoven 9th symphony, Orff's Carmina Burana, and recently Verdi's Requiem. Escobar has recorded for Bongiovanni the first original language recording of Rita où le mari Batù from Donizetti and other important recordings for Ricordi program Canto L'opera the first one Tenor rarities Vol 2 and the second one Lirico- leggero Tenor recordings.
