Marta Fumagalli- mezzosoprano

Marta Fumagalli, mezzosoprano, graduated with honors in Modern Literature, in February 2009 has brilliantly achieved the Diploma at Conservatorio di Musica "G. Verdi" in Como, with the supervision of soprano Cristina Rubin. After, she deepened the study in particular of baroque technique and repertoire with the countertenor Roberto Balconi.
She continuously collaborates with various instrumental and vocal ensembles (Le Concert des Nations, Cappella Neapolitana, Ghislieri Choir & Consort, Orchestra Nazionale dei Conservatori, Ensemble Salomone Rossi, Coro RSI/I Barocchisti, Les Musiciens du Louvre, Il canto di Orfeo, LaVerdi Barocca, Atalanta Fugiens, Cantar Lontano, La Venexiana, La Divina Armonia, Dolce e Tempesta, Ensemble Salomone Rossi), facing especially with the great baroque repertoire. She has performed, always with success, in prestigious festivals and locations in Italy and abroad (Internationale Händel-Festspiele Göttingen, Misteria Paschalia, De Bijloke Muziekcentrum Gent, Associazione Alessandro Scarlatti Napoli, Centre Lyrique Clermont- Auvergne, Valletta International Baroque Festival, Società del Quartetto di Milano, Roma Festival Barocco, Festival d'Ambronay, Festival Purtimiro, Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht, Festival de La Chaise-Dieu, Festival de Rocamadour, Ravenna Festival, Barockfestival S. In June 2018, together with Ghislieri Choir and Orchestra, conducted by Giulio Prandi, she was awarded with the Diapason D'Or Découverte, for the CD Messa in Re Maggiore by G. B. Pergolesi, recorded with the label Arcana-Outhere Music.
