Olga Angelillo - soprano

Olga Angelillo achieved her diploma of Artistic Singing at the Civic Musical Institute "G. Donizetti" in Bergamo. Later on she has attended masterclasses on early music with Poppy Holden at "International Summer School of Early Music" in Valtice (Czech Rep.) and with Roberto Balconi at "Accademia Internazionale della Musica" in Milan. Then she studied with Bianca Maria Casoni and Vincenzo Spatola focusing on romantic opera. She started her musical experience singing in the polyphonic choir Pueri Cantores (Rho, Milan) conducted by mo Luigi Toja. Her repertoire includes Bach, Vivaldi, Haendel, Pergolesi, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Schubert and also Verdi, Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti, Puccini and others. She has sung with orchestras such as U.E.C.O., Orchestra Mozart, Camerata Ducale, Orchestra Montis Regalis, Orchestra RAI, Orchestra Cantelli and Orchestra Coccia, and in vocal ensembles such as Il canto d'Orfeo and Coro Maghini, working with conductors such as Gianandrea Noseda, Helmuth Rilling and Alessandro De Marchi. She gave concerts and recitals as soloist in France and Spain, in addition to important Italian festivals such as "MiTo Festival", "Musica e poesia a S. Maurizio" and "Settimane Internazionali della musica di Stresa". She has often sung works by Bruno Bettinelli during celebratory concerts dedicated to the Milanese composer (Società Umanitaria and Circolo della Stampa). She recorded the complete vocal works by Respighi on Ada Negri's texts. Furthermore she took part in the European project "Le vie di Mozart", singing at the church S. Maria del Carmine in Milan, and representing Italy among the Mozart Europe Soloists in the final concert. She participated in the gala concert for the maestro Marcello Abbado's birthday in Sala Verdi of Milan Conservatory. She worked with various operatic institutions, such as ASLICO.
Since 2013 Olga Angelillo collaborates with the Italian National Team in Rhythmic Gymnastics, performing on the Golden Butterfly Gala (broadcast on RAI channels), the Gala of World Cup in Pesaro 2015 and in the eminent location of EXPO 2015, singing well-known opera arias during the show of the famous gymnasts.
